Overview:

            In this documentary on the military takeover of the Chile, Guzmán presents various ideas and bits of information that circulated at the time. There are also interviews with former soldiers, and discussions about how the coup has affected Chilean society.

Class Projects

  • Research films by Patricio Guzman and explain in a short essay what you think of his views on the politics of the films’ subjects.
  • Make a collage of images from the Allende presidency that supports or opposes his government.
