Dr. Mai Thi Nguyen is an Associate Professor in the Department of City &Regional Planning at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on social and spatial inequality, immigration policy and practice, and housing policy. Dr. Nguyen¹s work has been published in high impact housing and urban studies journals such as: Housing Studies, Housing Policy Debate, Housing Theory and Society, Journal of Urban Affairs, Urban Studies, Journal of Planning Education and Research, Journal of the American Planning Association, and the Journal of Planning Literature. Her work has been funded by the National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
