As a part of the Nicholas School of the Environment's Global Week celebration, Duke's Working Group on Environment in Latin America (WGELA) is co-sponsoring a seminar with Dr. Juan José Miranda about environmental economics in Latin America.

Global Week is a series of speaker events featuring environmental professionals from different parts of the world and capped of with a Global Fest and potluck featuring our various cultures.

Dr. Juan José Miranda is a Senior Environmental Economist at the World Bank, where he started in 2013. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics at Georgia State University with a focus on environmental, behavioral, and developmental economics.
