Teaching El Salvador Through Poetry
Salvadorans are the second-largest Latin American group in the U.S., and immigration from Central America is at the forefront of today's news cycle. In this session K-12 teachers will learn how to incorporate El Salvador into the classroom using poetry. Featured poets include Javier Zamora, Claribel AlegrÃa, Jorge Argueta, and more.
