The first lecture in the Fall Cuba Series will be given by Associate Professor of History Jennifer Lambe from Brown University. She will speak on her most recent book "The Subject of Revolution: Between Political and Popular Culture in Cuba. This book centers the interface between political and popular culture in the domestic and international reception of the Cuban Revolution. From television to travel bans, Cold War experts to popular dance, the book explores how knowledge about the Revolution was produced and how the Revolution in turn shaped new worldviews.
