FLAS Fellowship Applications Due February 4th
Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship is a U.S. Department of Education program that support students interested in languages and area studies courses. The Institute for the Study of the Americas (ISA) offers both Academic Year (AY) and Summer Fellowships to full time graduate students. Undergraduate students entering intermediate level or above may apply for Summer.
Academic Year Priority: Brazilian Portuguese, K'iche Maya, and Haitian Creole
Summer Priority: Yucatec Maya and Brazilian Portuguese
*Other indigenous and creole languages of Latin America are considered
