LTAM 350: The United States and Latin America
Interested in the learning about Latin America and US relations? Register for LTAM 350: The United States and Latin America taught by Dr. Lou Pérez.
This course will examine US-Latin American relations spanning the 19th century to the present through multi-disciplinary perspectives and inter-disciplinary methodologies, including popular culture, film, original documents, and social science scholarship.
LTAM 350 is a synchronous remote only course that meets on Tuesdays from 3:30pm-6:15pm.
LTAM 390: Heritage and Migration in North Carolina
Experience and document North Carolina’s Latin American history with LTAM 390! This undergraduate course trains students to use oral history as a method for understanding the immigration and settlement of North Carolinians with Latin America ancestry. The course will address the ethical and practical aspects of oral history including the preparation, transaction, transcription, and archiving of oral history interviews.
LTAM 390 is a synchronous remote only course that meets Tuesday/Thursday from 11:00am - 12:15pm.
