The pandemic experience of COVID-19 in Latin America reaches us mostly in the form of aggregate numbers and summary overviews, often in random intervals and almost always from a distance. This space is designed to offer access to voices from Latin America as a chronicle of the experience of daily life within the pandemic–testimonios, in a word–from Carolina students, past and present, as well as from friends and colleagues in Latin America with personal and professional ties to the Carolina community.
